Work in progress seminars

Tomorrow's Work in Progress seminars host, Professor Joseph Buttigieg, is Professor of English at Notre Dame University in Indiana. The title of his paper is "Reading Gramsci: Philology and Critical Method".

Professor Buttigieg is now completing the English version of the critical edition of Antonio Gramsci's Prison Notebooks in five volumes for Columbia University Press. He is the author, among other books, of C. Borg, J. Buttigieg, and P. Mayo (eds), Gramsci and Education (2002).

The seminar, which starts at 6 p.m., is held at the Mediterranean Institute (Room 124).

Following tomorrow's seminar, Professor Buttigieg will be available for interviews on Gramsci, his relevance, and the translation of his writings, until Friday.
