Citadel Insurance plc has launched a new product - the CitadelLife Investment Bond.

A simple, straightforward form of investing a sum of money, the CitadelLife Investment Bond is a single premium insurance product with life cover, which potentially offers a higher return than bank deposits and bonds.

As a cautious investment, the CitadelLife Investment Bond is an interest sensitive life insurance product, which invests in Citadel's "with profits" fund. This fund currently invests in a wide choice of assets from shares, bonds, property, funds and bank deposits, both local and international.

The "with profits" fund of Citadel Insurance has a successful track record and has generated an average annual return of 5.4 per cent over the past five years.

With a minimum premium of Lm2,500 and a minimum investment period of five years, the CitadelLife Investment Bond is a tax efficient policy under current tax legislation.
