HSBC group recently held a four-day residential training programme entitled Advanced People Management. Eighteen delegates participated, six from the UK and 12 locally. The programme was targeted at HSBC Global's middle management.
The training was given by Fiona Brimage, course director at HSBC's management training college based in Hertfordshire, England, and Joe Debono, management skills training manager, HSBC Malta.
The programme is the second level of a three-tiered suite of management training programmes. This specialised training enables delegates to better understand the dynamics of operating effectively at middle-management levels.
Shaun Wallis, CEO, HSBC Malta said: "HSBC's learning and development programmes target management and staff at all levels and aim to help personal development, the sharing of best practice, and a group strategy to "Think joined up".
