The European Institute of Education (EIE) has reached a collaboration agreement with the Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM), the national organisation that represents the interest of the Maltese creditors. EIE and MACM will be collaborating on a number of initiatives.

A meeting was held at the EIE premises where the agreement was finalised. Antonello Cappitta, recently appointed managing director of EIE, said: "Such collaboration agreements with various organisations, associations and entities are an asset to EIE since they link the academic work with reality that every employee encounters in his everyday life. It is also a way how theory and practice are continuously amalgamated."

Josef Busuttil, director general of MACM, said: "Such initiatives and agreements are important to enhance the skills of the association's members.

"It is in the interest of the association that its members act professionally in their business, since the financial sector has become one of the most important of Malta's economy in recent years."
