A 27-year-old man has been put on probation for three years after he admitted to stealing a car and damaging it four years ago.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli heard Aaron Cassar, of Kirkop, plead guilty to stealing Antoine Azzopardi's car on August 11, 2003.

Police Inspector Walter Spiteri prosecuted.
