Misappropriation charge

A woman was charged with the misappropriation of Lm919 and defrauding a couple.

Alexia Cross, 27, of St Paul's Bay pleaded not guilty to defrauding Victor and Dorothy Gauci, misappropriation and forgery between May and June 2004.

Police Inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.

Lawyer Roberto Montalto was defence counsel.
