This season's H2Only Individual League is now well under way and played regularly on Wednesday evenings at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

There are ten divisions: seven for singles (two of which are exclusively for women) and three for doubles.

Four players are contesting the men's Division One. They will play each other over two rounds.

With each participant having played four matches, Stefan Salo-mone (Birkirkara BC) and Bulgarian Boris Lalov (Msida Arrows BC) are heading the provisional standings with six points each.

They preserved their unbeaten record so far, having won two of their fixtures and drawn the other two. Their first-round clash was one of the two drawn results.

Kenneth Vella (Pawla Wolves Schtag) is within striking distance, two points adrift of the leading duo.

He has a win and two draws on his record, having only lost his second round encounter with Lalov.

Aldo Polidano lies at the wrong end of the table, still having to win his first point in this division.

With only two fixtures left to play, the title issue is now hotting up. Salomone and Lalov are heading for a showdown. They will face each other tomorrow.

The outcome of this fixture, will have a crucial bearing on the destination of this season's Division One title.
