The Computer Society of Malta held the third edition of the ICT Malta Awards at the Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort, St Julians.

The following awards were presented: Mepa/MIIIT - eBusiness Solutions Award for Online Application System; MIIIT - IT Education Award for MyPotential; Webgenix - Micro Enterprise Award for the Table Tennis Online Store; TCTC - Information Society Award for emCitizen; Shireburn - IT Product Award for Integra4Notes; Computime - IT Product Award for the Lloyds Block Free Management System; Datatrak Solutions Ltd - IT Company Award.

Merit awards were given to Datatrak Solutions and MediaCatalyst.

Four MCAST students were given a money gift for their work in connection with higher diplomas in Networking/Support and Software Development.

A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Karm and Thomas Galea who set up Megabyte and who over a span of about 30 years set up solutions to both the local, private and public IT sectors.

IT Minister Austin Gatt received an award for his outstanding contribution to the advancement of digital literacy on the island.
