Gharghur Primary School is set to reverberate this summer to the sound of children laughing and enjoying themselves, as they play with puppets, paint, dance and sing to their hearts' content.

Creative Energy Kids' Club is again organising a seven-week programme at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between July 16 and September 7, from 9 a.m. to 12.45 p.m., with a break from August 13 to 17.

The club is run by husband and wife Philip and Simone Stilon, who are both qualified teachers. Activities include arts and crafts, water games, sports, pottery, drama, dance, music, cookery and puppetry. The children also have exciting special events and surprises to look forward to.

The club was set up with the aim of encouraging children between the ages of three and 11 to take part in as many creative activities as possible in a relaxed, enjoyable and stimulating environment. The children are given the opportunity to express and implement their own ideas through a creative process.

In October, the Creative Energy Kids' Winter Club will be launched at Ta' l-Ibrag parish church for children aged between five and 11. More details about both the summer and winter club may be obtained by phoning 2138-5497 or 9989-1791/2 and e-mailing: pstilon@maltanet.net.
