Two men were yesterday arraigned separately and charged with drug related offences.

Nicholas Anthony Fenech, 33, of Senglea, was remanded in custody after being charged with being in possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy tablets and cannabis in quantities denoting it was not for his personal use. Police Inspector Dennis Theuma, who prosecuted, said the accused had some cocaine and heroin, 96 ecstasy tablets and 130 grammes of cannabis on Wednesday. Ernest Briffa, 29, from Zabbar, was granted bail against a deposit of Lm200 and a personal guarantee of Lm800 after being accused of being in possession of six grammes of heroin.
