The Curia said that no public cash collections are being held to raise money for the expenses incurred in the canonisation of Blessed Gorg Preca.

The Christian Doctrine Society and the Curia agreed last March that there will be no collections for the expenses required for the canonisation.

The Curia also emphasised that authentic relics of Dun Gorg will only be distributed by the Church or the MUSEUM Society free of charge.

The Curia was reacting to reports that individuals are selling holy pictures of Dun Gorg which they claim were put in contact with his remains.
