The Laudate Pueri Choir of St George's Basilica in Victoria has been invited to perform for the canonisation of the Blessed Dun Gorg Preca at the Vatican on Sunday.

The choir was formally set up in 1976 by the present archpriest of the basilica Fr Joseph Farrugia.

During its 31 years, besides performing at the basilica, the choir has performed in various concerts in Malta and Gozo as well as in the Vatican, Marseille, France, Rocca di Mezzo in Italy, the UK and New York.
