It is great to see both the discussion and action which is taking place to improve the quality of life and the vibrancy of Valletta as befits a capital city. Rather a shame then that, according to the Valletta council's official website, which contains a long and detailed list of news and events, there appears to have been nothing worth mentioning since August 2006, for clarity adding "No events for this month" for whatever month we happen to be in.

I did out of courtesy drop a line to them, asking if the information was to be updated, but received no reply.

Far better, if an information service is to be neglected, that it should be removed completely, rather than leave the impression that nothing is happening in Valletta, or if there is, that no one cares.
