Obituary
ABELA. On May 27, MARY, née Bezzina, aged 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by her children Rev. Fr Charles Abela, Dr Gino T. Abela and his wife Cecilia, Tessie Amaria wife of the late Charles, Helen Micallef wife of Joe, Antoinette Galea wife of Joe and Charlot Mifsud husband of her late daughter Gemma, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for St Anne parish church, Marsascala where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Pirotta, Birkirkara will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to reveive visitors.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children Alfred and his wife Josephine, Carmen and her husband Romeo Borg, Phyllis and her husband Godfrey Farrugia, Tony and his wife Rina, Jimmy and his wife Rita, and Magdalene and her husband Tonio Bonello, her grandchildren and great-grandchild Elena, her siblings and her brother's widow, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

CAMILLERI. On May 27, at Zammit Clapp Hosptial, DOMENICA of Rabat, widow of George, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Rose and her husband Saviour Micallef, Josephine and her husband Joe Mallia, Pauline and her husband Joe Magro, Frank and his wife Rose, Mario and his wife Rita, Rita and her husband Charles Sapiano, her grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Dominic church, Rabat where Mass praesente cadavere will be said followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Zebbug. Heartfelt thanks go to the dedicated staff at Zammit Clapp Hospital. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

CARUANA. On May 26, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MIRIAM, aged 50, after a brave battle against cancer, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Raymond and her children Michela and Jean, her father Massimo and his wife May, her brothers Noel and his wife Olivia and Joe and his wife Anna, her sisters Carmen and her husband Patrick and Marthese and her husband John, her in-laws, Gladys and George, nephews and nieces and many relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 8.15 a.m. for Naxxar parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

Zejtun Activities
The Zejtun parish will be holding a number of activities from June 4 - 7 as part of the celebrations since the Blessed Sacrament was transferred to the parish 300 years ago.
A eucharistic vigil will be held on June 4 between 7.30 and 9.30 p.m. and a eucharistic adoration will be held on June 5 at St Gregory's church, including prayers, at 6.30 p.m. A eucharistic procession to the parish church will be held at 7 p.m., followed by Mass at 7.30 p.m.
A presentation by Canon Joe Abela and Fr Gino Gauci about the history of the Eucharist at the Zejtun parish will be held at the parish church on June 6 at 7.15 p.m.
Film On Psoriasis
The Psoriasis Association Malta will be screening a 60-minute documentary - My Skin's on Fire - on Friday. The documentary, about the effect of living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, will be screened at the Ta' Xbiex local council at 6 p.m. Entrance for members of the association and a guest is free and non members pay Lm1.50.

St John Ambulance will be holding its annual general meeting at its headquarters in Independence Square, Valletta, on June 21 at 7.30 p.m.
