Valletta trees' roots

A Valletta Rehabilitation Project study covered the trees in front of St John's Co-Cathedral and the law courts and not those in Merchants Street, VRP coordinator Ray Bondin said.

Dr Bondin was referring to comments by IT Ministry spokesman Manuel Delia who said that a study by the VRP showed that roots of trees in Valletta had penetrated through cracks into the open spaces underground.
