Kanoute: Title contenders Sevilla are likely to be without leading scorer Frederic Kanoute for their final league match of the season at home to Villarreal after the striker received the call up to play for Mali. Kanoute was included in the Mali squad for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin on June 2 and Sierra Leone on June 16.

Liverpool: Liverpool's Chilean forward Mark Gonzalez and Dutch winger Boudewijn Zenden look set to leave the Champions League runners-up. "I was talking with Zenden and I said he could talk with other teams. We also have an agreement with Real Betis for Mark Gonzalez," Benitez said.

Kaka: Real Madrid's Brazilian international Robinho has said that Milan forward Kaka wants to play for the nine-times European champions. "Kaka really likes Real Madrid and he told me he would like to play here," Robinho said.

Hreidarrson: Iceland international defender Hermann Hreidarsson has signed a two-year contract with Portsmouth after leaving relegated Charlton Athletic on a free transfer.

Ribery: Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign French international Franck Ribery from Marseille, German media said. A Bayern spokesman said the club could not confirm the transfer, which the report said would be for around 15 million euros.

Bale: Tottenham Hotspur have signed Southampton's Wales left back Gareth Bale. The Cardiff-born defender, who turns 18 in July, was linked with several top clubs, including Man. United, during the January transfer window and has opted to join Spurs.
