Gozo's Gaulitanus Choir recently gave a concert at San Anton Palace in honour of the President and Mrs Fenech Adami.

The choir gave a light concert, which started with Verdiana, a choral medley of popular Verdi choruses compiled by the choir's founder-director, Colin Attard.

Two short operetta selections followed, namely Sidney Jones' The Geisha and Johann Strauss' The Gipsy Baron, both adapted by Colin Attard. The choir rounded up its recital with Carmelo Pace's L-Imnarja.

The choir's soloists, soprano Rita Dimech and Margaret Plant, alto Stephanie Buttigieg, tenors Joseph Calleja and Terry Shaw, baritone Joseph Buttigieg and bass Darren Vella were accompanied by pianist Stephen Attard.
