Petition on transfer of Macina

Labour MPs José Herrera and Chris Agius yesterday presented a petition to Parliament urging the government not to transfer the stores forming part of the Macina building in Senglea to Birzebbuga Regatta Club but instead allocate it to NGOs based in Senglea itself.

Dr Herrera said the petition had been signed by some 400 residents of Senglea.
