The Police, Armed Forces of Malta and Customs Department yesterday signed an agreement setting guidelines on the exchange of information between them. The agreement strengthens co-operation between the law enforcement organisations and addresses both co-operation in criminal cases and the collection of necessary information.

It also takes into consideration the laws regulating the three, as well as the Data Protection Act and Human Rights.
