Over 40 years ago, Sidney Rubin, managing director at the Alderglen Manufacturing Company, came to Malta to recruit employees.

The firm, which manufactured nylon garments, had its head office in London and first moved into Rochdale in Lancashire in 1961.

Jean Haigh, who used to take care of the Maltese girls (in picture) would like to receive any contact or any information about them to see how they have been getting on years later.
