Arraigned over illegal immigration

A man stands charged with assisting immigrants to leave Malta illegally and conspiring to commit a crime. Rupert Busuttil, 32, of St Paul's Bay pleaded not guilty to committing the crimes between May 13 and 14. He was remanded in police custody.
