Used stolen chequebook

A man has been charged with stealing a chequebook and making use of it on and before February. Jason Manuel Briffa, 32, pleaded guilty to stealing Christian Bonello's chequebook, forging his signature and defrauding Valhmor Galea of about Lm15,000.

Jason Manuel Briffa, 32, pleaded guilty to stealing Christian Bonello's chequebook, forging his signature and defrauding Valhmor Galea of about Lm15,000. Police Inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono represented Mr Briffa.
