Salaries and Benefits Report for the IT sector

MISCO has just issued its second edition of the Salaries and Benefits Report for the IT Sector.

This report is compiled with the aim of providing senior management with information about the different remuneration packages offered in the Maltese IT industry.

Compiled over a four-month period, spanning from January to April 2007, the report focuses on the salaries and benefits offered in ICT and non-ICT companies.

This segmentation of information gives the end-user a better idea of remuneration packages offered locally, thus permitting a more accurate positioning of the organisation within the market.

The 21 position titles covered by this study include those of systems manager, operations/services manager, IT manager, business development manager, quality manager, software specialist, technical specialist/architect, project manager, project leader, junior software developer, software developer, senior software developer, IT engineer, systems analyst, systems administrator, quality analyst, software support executive, IT consultant, information security officer, help desk officer and software tester.

Based on quality research and extensive knowledge acquired through MISCO's involvement in HR consultancy, this report provides a reliable, realistic and up-to-date picture of what companies are paying to recruit new employees or retain their present staff.
