Olympic and world champion Laure Manaudou's ex-coach Philippe Lucas hit out over their split this week.
"The real reason she is leaving is that she wants to work less," Lucas argued.
"She leaves for a training structure she does not know. She does not know who her training partners will be, she does not even know who will be her coach."
Manaudou, 20, will train in Turin, not too far from her boy-friend, swimmer Luca Marin.
