Dispute at social agencies

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin is threatening industrial action at three government agencies - Sedqa, Appogg and Sapport - and at the Adult Training Centres.

In spite of having put forward its proposals for collective agreements, it has not received any counterproposals, the union said in a statement.

Foundation for Social Welfare Services chief executive officer Joe Gerada said the collective agreements were up for negotiation and the foundation was waiting for the authorities to give it a date to start.
