A man admitted to his involvement in the forgery of VRT (vehicle roadworthiness test) certificates.

Louis Bonello, 67, of Marsa pleaded guilty to acting as an intermediary between car owners and a VRT tester on and before January this year. The tester issued forged certificates, which Mr Bonello handed over to the car owners.

Magistrate Edwina Grima put off the case for judgement.
