Art as a healing therapy
Mater Dei Hospital will have over 600 works of art by MCAST students because art is known to have a healing effect on patients.
Through an agreement signed between the Foundation for Medical Service and MCAST, 50 students and several teachers have been commissioned to create works which will be exhibited at the new hospital.
There will also be works of art by children and artistic representations on the theme Madonna And Child.
