"A large number of business leaders will only appoint a woman into a very senior post in times of crisis and poor performance, according to a new report from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This leaves female leaders facing a form of hidden discrimination which leaves them more likely to fail than their male counterparts..."

The above are only some abstracts from CIPD press releases. Most of them are based on surveys, and are updated regularly on our Website. There is a lot one can learn from such press releases and perhaps compare and contrast with the local scenario.
Furthermore, we recently updated our readers with a list of 350 books we have available in our library for anyone to make use of. For FHRD members borrowing such books is free of charge, and we are charging only Lm1 per book for non-members. We would like to see more of our clients at FHRD making use of the latest management books that have been donated to the foundation.
ETC courses are also featured in our training Website together with our distance learning courses. Please see www.trainingmalta.org.
