A car driver was seriously injured when he was involved in a crash with another car in Ghar Dalam Street, Birzebbuga, yesterday at about 1 a.m.

The police said the accident occurred when, for some reason, the two cars, a Renault Clio and a Nissan, crashed when they were going in opposite directions.

The police, who are investigating, said that the driver of the Nissan suffered fractures.
