Star Track 2007 at Marsa

The Malta Amateur Athletic Association (MAAA), in conjunction with the Kunsill Malti Ghall-Isport, will hold Star Track 2007 at the Matthew Micallef St John Athletic Stadium on Tuesday.

Registration opens at 8.30 a.m. and the programme, designed for children aged between six and 11 years, starts at 9 a.m.

The programme - Kid Athletics - was devised by the IAAF primarily to promote the sport and to give beginners the opportunity to learn basic skills in running, jumps and throwing, all without the pressure of competition.

Participants will all be under the supervision of qualified coaches, members of the MAAA.

All children will be given a memento and a goodie bag at the end of the afternoon's activities.
