The new Tripoli office of the Libyan-Maltese Chamber of Commerce was inaugurated on Tuesday by Foreign Minister Michael Frendo.

The office is intended as a point of reference and a "one stop shop" for Libyans and Maltese who wish to use the Chamber's knowledge of the Maltese and Libyan markets to do business in Libya.

It will also offer assistance to Libyans who wish to explore the potential for investment in Malta or of Malta as a stepping stone to Europe.
