AFM seize drugs at checkpoints

A number of persons were detained by members of the 1st Regiment AFM's C (Special Duties) Company after they were found in possession of drugs during vehicle checkpoints in the southern and central parts of Malta, the AFM said.

The individuals, who were handed over to the police, were allegedly found in possession of cocaine, cannabis and heroin.
