Spot the difference. Here are two pictures - one (top) taken of the boundary retaining walls of a new road on Gozo from Victoria to Gharb, and the other similarly of a new road in Malta near Rabat. Notice that the Malta roadside walls are built with traditional rubble stone for virtually their whole length, while the walls in Gozo are ugly franca - and many with unsightly concrete cappings. Who allowed this further uglification of the island?
