Five Premier League players were handed one-match bans by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

Sliema Wanderers defender Jeffrey Chetcuti is forced to sit out his team's match against Birkirkara on Saturday after collecting his fourth yellow card in the 1-1 draw against Valletta last weekend.

Birkirkara, too, will have to make some changes in defence after Roderick Sammut was also banned one match.

Keith Fenech is out of Valletta's match against Hibernians on Sunday while St George's duo Lawrence Mizzi and Clive Brincat will have to skip the next match against Marsa on May 5 after seeing red in Saturday's 6-2 defeat to Floriana.
