Next Sunday from 10 a.m. onwards a Fun Day is being organised at the Ta' Qali picnic area to raise funds for projects that Kare4Kenya, a local NGO, is undertaking in Kawangware, Kenya, to provide education and medical care for about 90 Kenyan children, youths and their parents.
The Fun Day will feature a variety of games and activities including basketball, football, a bouncing castle, an inflatable gladiator, a bungee run, wheel of fortune, face painting, and children's games with prizes to be won, thanks to various sponsors.
Youths who form teams of six persons can also take part in a game of "human table soccer".
Kare4Kenya is preparing to send a group of 11 youths to Kawang-ware from August 1 to 31, to continue work on two projects being untaken there.
