Sailing - Round Comino Race tomorrow

The Air Malta-Lufthansa Round Comino Race 2007 is being organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC) in conjunction with the sponsors, tomorrow. The race is open to Bavaria yachts with a RMYC rating and will be sailed by employees of Air Malta and Lufthansa as a unique occasion which, if successful, could be repeated every year.

The route is the same as that used in several other RMYC races. Sailing off from Marsamxett, the fleet will round Comino Island and back to finishing by the black and white markers of the Yacht Club. A briefing for crews will be held today at the RMYC, starting at 7.30 p.m. The race tomorrow gets underway at 10 a.m.
