Aercomms have stretched their lead to six points at the top of the Middle Sea League after an 8-0 hammering of Union Capital Group.
That was to be the only full-point victory in week 14 of the league, as usually played at the Eden SuperBowl, with second-placed Fina First dropping two points in their win over Royal Shock, Redwell Heating losing 6-2 to PharmaVet, HSBC beating FireBalls 6-2 and Sammy's Embroideries figuring in a four-all draw with Ramis.
Aercomms made it two consecutive weeks at the summit with the biggest set of the week, pummelling unlucky Union Capital. They opened with a huge 874 game against Union Capital's 794 effort, and then made it 4-0 with an 829-788 game two win.
Game three was the icing on the Aercomms' cake as they won it 817-771 to seal their victory.
Fina First won game one easily with a 755-833 scoreline, and also took game two in similar style, 693-835. It was in game three that Fina slipped up, letting Royal Shock gain a two-point share with a 785-740 win, but the defending champions claimed the series points by 175 pins (2,233-2,408).
