GWU voices concern over Bortex

The situation of production at the company Bortex Clothing Industry has changed for the worse due to the fact that it has lost an important client, the General Workers' Union said yesterday.

The union said it was informed about this by the management on Wednesday.

The loss of the client had thrown the company into even greater difficulty than it was already facing, it said.

The management and the GWU will continue meeting so that the union will remain informed about any developments.

The GWU said it called a meeting for employees yesterday to inform them of what had happened and promised to keep them posted on the situation.
