Valletta ring road

I refer to the article entitled Valletta Ring Road Exempt From Fee-parking Scheme (April 11). It is reported that the government had agreed with the UHM that "Motorists will not have to pay to park on the Valletta ring-road once the fee-parking scheme is introduced".

There is no mention about the Valletta local council or Mepa being consulted about the potential impact of this new decision on Valletta's residents or the local environment.
