Depiro became the first team this season to upstage Hibs Medsea in the Peugeot League and put an end to their unbeaten record.

In a tense match, Depiro recovered from a slow start and with Hibs' shooters under a tight cover, Charles Bonnici's girls went on to take a 21-14 half-time lead.
Hibs closed the gap to a single basket (32-30) before the last ten minutes got underway. They potted the first two baskets as the match resumed but Depiro struck back with six successive points to move 38-34 ahead.
In a dramatic finale, Hibs came within striking distance (42-41) but Depiro held on to pot the last four points and clinch victory - 46-41.
In the Classification Pool, Luxol were never troubled by Kerygma.
After changing ends 25-13 ahead, Luxol went on to register a 54-23 victory.
In the other game, Sliema Wanderers left SN Suns without a win, beating them 64-25.
