Children visit Spain

Four children from Dr Godwin Ganado Primary School, Mtarfa, recently spent five days in the town of Barbate, southern Spain, attending school and cultural outings with Spanish children by day and playing with them on the beach in the evenings.

The visit was funded by the Comenius programme through the EUPU Malta.

During their stay, the Maltese children - Noemi, Francesca, Wayne and Stefan were accompanied by their teacher Erika Medati and myself as head of school. They were hosted by Spanish families.

The children's short visit has started a bond of friendship between the four children's families and the Spanish host families.
