Front office manager for The Victoria, The Palace

Mario Messina is The Victoria hotel's new front office manager. Mr Messina's responsibilities include the overseeing of operations for both The Victoria and the five-star hotel, The Palace, an urban, boutique hotel opening soon on High Street, Sliema.

Mr Messina will also be responsible for the smooth running of this vital department, ensuring that the standard of this important service is always high and the clients' needs met to their satisfaction.

Claire Xuereb, The Victoria hotel's general manager, said Mr Messina has been appointed in line with the new structure which also includes the new hotel, The Palace.

She said: "Mr Messina's vast experience in the category of five-star hotel management makes him an ideal choice for the new structure which includes both The Victoria and The Palace, which is expected to open in its doors in June. We are sure his expertise will be a valid asset for our team."

With an impressive 32 years in the hospitality industry, Mr Messina, 52, brings with him extensive experience which will serve him in good stead at The Victoria and The Palace. Mr Messina's role envisages that once The Palace begins operations, he will be responsible for both establishments' front office.
