IT week magazine has selected GFI MailEssentials for Exchange/SMTP as the 2007 Editor's Choice winner for significantly cutting down on spam as well as for its pricing and functionality.
With over 60,000 customers and numerous editor and customer choice awards to its name, GFI MailEssentials is a leading anti-spam solution that eliminates spam and phishing attempts at server level, allowing for improved productivity, saving companies precious time and money. Thanks to its intelligent identification and white listing features, GFI MailEssentials also returns a very small number of false positives, lowering the risk that good and important e-mails are treated as spam.
IT Week believed GFI's anti-spam, anti-phishing and e-mail management solution is a solid product that can significantly cut down on spam e-mail. "If your company is looking for an effective method to distinctly cut down on spam effectively, then you'll want to check out GFI MailEssentials for Exchange/SMTP. You can expect the software to block more than 98 per cent of all spam e-mail that attempts to reach corporate users," IT Week said in its product review.
Products are chosen for review based on broad criteria, but a product is given an Editor's Choice Award only when they feel it provides an excellent solution and one which they want to recommend to readers. The publication, now in its third year, is delivered electronically in digital format to over 100,000 qualified subscribers every Monday.
The magazine said the product is relatively easy to install and highlighted the benefit that it can be installed on Microsoft's Exchange or any other SMTP server.
