Schuster: Getafe's Bernd Schuster has denied German media reports he has a pre-contract agreement to coach Primera Liga rivals Real Madrid. "Nothing has changed. Of course, I don't have a pre-contract deal with Real Madrid. I don't know how a German news agency can know more than us here," Schuster said. President Ramon Calderon has hinted coach Fabio Capello may not remain at Real beyond the end of the season, even though he has another two years to run on his contract.

Net profit: The German FA said it recorded a net profit of 21 million euros in 2006, thanks largely to the World Cup, and would invest the earnings in infrastructure improvements for youth football including 12 million euros for 1,000 pitches at schools and clubs. It plans to hand over another seven million euros to 26,000 clubs for balls, sports clothing and computer equipment.

Lita ban: Reading striker Leroy Lita has been handed a three-match ban by the English FA for violent conduct in an incident involving Charlton Athletic defender Talal El Karkouri during Monday's 0-0 Premier League draw. Lita denied the charge but a disciplinary commission found him guilty, the FA said.

Arsenal: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has never seen his side go five league matches without a win since his arrival in 1996 and will be hoping that a home victory over Bolton Wanderers will preserve that record. Arsenal are fourth, two points clear of Bolton, and a victory for either side could have a huge outcome on England's fourth Champions League spot.

Jail visit: Two Boca Juniors players have visited a group of the team's supporters in jail where they have just begun serving sentences for their part in a riot at a game in 1999. Strikers Martin Palermo and Rodrigo Palacio autographed shirts for prison wardens before visiting the six convicted hooligans who are serving between three and four years, the report said. The players also gave shoes and clothes to the six prisoners.
