The Consumers' Association has called on the public to read carefully the small print in the brochures of tours being organised for the canonisation of Blessed Gorg Preca on June 3.

Various tours were organised after the death of Pope John Paul II, the association said, but many consumers had not paid attention to the details and as a result were disappointed .

Consumers have the right to request a detailed programme that should include the type of accommodation, its location and its classification, meal plans, itinerary and compulsory payments.
