Winter Moods for fireworks festival concert

Winter Moods, fresh from a successful 20th anniversary concert in Gozo, will be performing at the Valletta Waterfront on the final night of the Malta International Food and Fireworks Festival on April 30.

Over 1,000 people crammed into the XS club in Gozo to watch the band perform, and the feedback to the songs was "amazing", according to Winter Moods frontman Ivan Grech.

"This encouraged us to get involved in a concert on a larger scale in Malta. The Valletta Waterfront will be the perfect setting for our concert, with fireworks and our home town, Senglea, in the background." Gianni and Friends and Walter Micallef will be supporting Winter Moods on the night.

Tickets for the concert cost Lm5 and are available from Vodafone retail outlets, Where's Everybody and the Valletta Waterfront.

There will be transport by sea from Senglea, Vittoriosa and Sliema. A ferry service will be operated from Gozo by Gozo Channel and public transport will run until 1 a.m.
