Bank sponsors music festival

Bank of Valletta is sponsoring the Gaulitana Festival of Music featuring local and international artists.

Jack Theuma, BOV's Gozo manager, presented the sponsorship cheque to Colin Attard, founder-director and chairman of the Gaulitanus Choir, in the presence of choir secretary Anthony Hili.

The next concert will feature the Gaulitanus Choir's principal soloist, Gozitan soprano Rita Dimech, in a vocal recital at the Exhibition Hall, Victoria, on Wednesday. There will also be a violin and piano recital featuring musician Jean Noel Attard at the same venue on April 20 and another concert featuring the Gaulitanus Choir at the Palazzo Palina, Ta' Cenc Hotel, Sannat on April 22 at 8 p.m., when the festival ends.
