A young man whom the police have described as having "an attitude problem" was yesterday remanded in custody after breaching bail conditions.

Shawn Mamo, 18, was yesterday accused of breaching bail conditions after he failed to sign at the police station.

Mr Mamo had been granted bail after he was charged with threatening the police, insulting several officers, disregarding police orders and refusing to give his particulars on April 4.

The court yesterday also fined Mr Mamo Lm50 and ordered that the personal guarantee of Lm100 imposed in the original bail conditions had to be paid.

Lawyer Martin Fenech was defence counsel.
