Trade gap narrows

The visible trade gap narrowed by Lm25.5 million during February, from the same month last year. An overall improvement of Lm13.8 million was recorded in the trade gap for the first two months of the year, the National Statistics Office said yesterday.

Provisional data for international trade show that the visible trade gap in February stood at Lm36.5 million.

There was a drop in imports of Lm20.6 million while exports rose by Lm4.9 million.
