A 25-year-old Libyan was yesterday remanded in custody after pleading guilty to causing wilful damage to a car in Pembroke on Friday.

Abduraouf I. R. Beleed, 25, of Tripoli, was accused of damaging Alfred Peregin's car and breaking the peace.

The court said it would hand down sentence on April 16, by which time the accused could find a way of making good for the damages caused.
